The project captures the flavor, texture and history of the community with its rich streetscape that invites pedestrian traffic and social interaction. In preserving the quality of the historic site, the project team saved mature trees, the mill and carriage house. The lushly landscaped development is an eclectic adaptation of traditional architectural styles. It echoes the Beaux Arts quality of Embassy Row and Georgetown’s ambiance with its Colonial, Craftsman and Georgian styles. The design utilizes a rich palette of materials and finishes.
